Sunday, July 15th - Our Annual Picnic in Kingston
The Robert Post Park in Kingston at the Small Pavillion from 2-5 PM. Potluck, bring a vegan picnic appropriate dish to share. We supply beverages. Do bring your own table service and a serving utensil for your dish.
Always a good time - yes you may bring friends. No charge, but a $5 donation is appreciated - really helps with our outreach activities. (Handouts for the Albany VegFest and Rhinebeck Farmers Market are an example of how we use your donations) Limited to 35 - please RSVP on MEETUP
Tuesday July 10 @ 6 PM: Dinner at the new Wildflower Cafe in Red Hook.
A casual eatery with vegan burgers, franks and chkin - fries, salads and, of course, cookies. They will open just for us at 6 pm -As the menu is simple we can order directly. Owner, Bobbie Jo will speak with us about their cat adoptions-- adoptable cats are housed right upstair above the cafe! (yes there is a video screen in the cafe so you can see the cats in action) Even though pre-payment is not required - we do need RSVP's. Let's show our support for good vegan casual dining in Red Hook, combined with our concern to support businesses who also support animal welfare. Limited to 22.
Sunday July 1st from 10 am to 2 pm Tabling Rhinebeck Farmer's Market.
Once Again, we will have an information table at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market where we will talk with people about becoming vegan and offer some homemade food samples.

Saturday, July 28. A Mid-Summer Night Dinner by CafeDrake
at the Vegan Venue in Rhinebeck. A menu inspired by Shakespeare.
Our vegan chef Drake Page will again provide a beautifully prepared and served sit-down meal, including a cocktail - and you may bring wine.

Date TBD. A potluck at the vegan Venue in Rhinebeck. Bring a vegan dish to share. Pat Valusek would like to speak about her long-standing work in animal welfare. She has lots of experience in animal cruelty cases. I need to clear this date with her before posting.
